It really all comes down to semantics. At some point, the actual meaning of “racism” got mixed up with other aspects of racism – prejudice, bigotry, ignorance, and so on. It’s true: White people can experience prejudice from black people and other non-whites.
Why isn’t there a people’s history month? We’re too wrapped up in social narratives that all we ever do is overlook someone or something. Why not encourage people to share as much history as they can?
In fact, why not have a different school of knowledge for every month of the year? December could be religious history, April could be math month, and so on and so forth.
